The Birmingham Employment Skills & Training Network is a consortium of not-for-profit organisations delivering employment skills and training services to communities facing high levels of unemployment. The Network is governed by an unpaid board of directors and is managed by a small team led by a Chief Executive Officer

Our aim is to tackle disadvanatage and inequality in Birmingham by utilising our members collective expertise to better meet the needs of our clients through a range of quality access-to-employment services. This involves a range of effective collaborative and partnership arrangements with public, voluntary and private sector organisations.

We serve a wide range of client groups including: those with few or no educational qualifications, young people trying get their first job, carers, refugees, older people, members of communities facing multiple deprivation, those who have been made redundant and ex-offenders

The BEST Network has currently been contracted to deliver Working Neighbourhoods Fund access-to employment activity across Yardley and holds an LSC Future Jobs and Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities contract across Birmingham.
